I am a freelance software engineer with more than 15 years of experience in software development, including eight years as an independent contractor. I work at principal level across web architecture, technical leadership and hands-on product engineering.
My current focus is AI-enabled product delivery: designing the workflows, feedback loops and guardrails that let a team move at AI speed without the loss of ownership, reliability and architectural quality.
I am equally comfortable starting from zero and working within established platforms. In a recent engagement, I led the web architecture and delivery of an AI-assisted content platform: the review, approval and regeneration layer that lets a team ship generated content to users with confidence. In other engagements, I have helped teams bring clarity to historically grown platforms, resolve architectural constraints and move back into focused delivery.
I specialize in frontend and web architecture while working comfortably across the full stack, with deep experience in React, TypeScript, Node.js, modern web platforms, micro-frontends and design systems. I work with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agentic workflows and evaluation loops, and I am currently building these into my own products.
I am particularly effective when the path is not yet clear: a new product needs a strong technical foundation, a platform has grown complex, architectural decisions are blocking delivery, or a team wants to adopt AI without creating an unmaintainable codebase.
My approach is simple: clarify the actual problem, establish the right boundaries, ship the smallest useful solution and add complexity only when the evidence justifies it.
